A Painful boil/Ingrown hair on my toe and a lesson from Job

It's been a while since I last wrote here - more than four months to be exact - sometimes life gets busy .But today, I decided it's time to start again.

These past days have been hard for me. I have a boil on my left big toe/ some said ingrown hair, and the pain is sometimes unbearable.I though it was something small that  would go away quickly. But soon , the pain grew worsen .  At night it disturbs my sleep, and during the day, I cannot even wear my shoe or chappal properly. So, I  have to sleep in a day .Something so small has made me feel so much misery.

But today , I  suddenly thought of the story of Job in the Bible. Job lost everything—his wealth, his health, and even the support of people around him. Still, he never cursed God. Instead, he said, “The Lord gave , and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord"

Compared to Job, my suffering is nothing. Yet this little pain reminded me that life will always test us. Maybe this is also my small test—to see if I can stay strong and still trust God even when I’m uncomfortable.

I realized that instead of complaining, I should thank God for giving me strength to endure. Pain is not easy, but it can teach patience and faith. My toe still hurts, but my heart feels lighter when I think this way.

So tonight, I just want to write this down as a reminder to myself: be strong, believe in God’s word, and be thankful even in small sufferings.
