"SHADOWS "
I walk alone, the sky turns gray,
The shadows stretch along my way.
They know the roads I’ve walked before,
The silent fights, the hidden war.
They echo all I’ve tried to hide—
The doubts that live so deep inside.
They know the tears I never show,
The dreams I lost not long ago.
Sometimes they feel too close, too near,
Like old regrets I still hold dear.
But even in their darkest hue,
They show the light I'm walking to.
They’ve seen me fall, and rise again,
They stood beside me through the pain.
Not just my fear—they hold my grace,
A part of me I must embrace.
So now I let them walk with me,
Not chained, but calm and quietly.
For shadows only form when light
Still burns within—however slight.
